  2018年9月12日,由策展人王岩策划的展览《妄念》将在英国伦敦萨奇美术馆举行,本次展览由中国美术学院跨媒体艺术学院、萨奇美术馆和START艺术博览会主办,得到了中国驻英国大使馆文化处的大力支持。展览呈现了十位/组中国青年艺术家(朱玺、段官来、王震宇、吴穹&汪洋、王志鹏、孙晓宇、宋戈文、傅冬霆、邵睿璐)全新创作的十余件绘画、装置及影像作品,不仅融合东方传统哲思与西方当代文化视野,更集中呈现了中国青年艺术家对社会当下的回应、反思与预测。折叠现实与精神世界,领观者游走其中,同时探寻虚妄与执念、身份与权利、政治与信仰等议题。作为一次实践,“妄念”不矫准任何偏离,也肯定非常规的生命体验,挖掘并还原隐含于艺术创作中不可视的信息和精神图景,重新思考艺术的力量。

  展览启幕之前,艺术网将陆续刊发十位/组参展艺术家的对话内容,以期更真实地呈现他们的所思所为。

Q&A

  Q:《All Sentient Beings---Pleasing to the ear,Snooping,Wild fancy,Hardship》《众生相系列之——-顺耳 觊觎 妄念 涩难》 这件作品的创作契机是什么?

  What motivated you to create All Sentient Beings---Pleasing to the ear, Snooping, Wild fancy, Hardship?

  A:这件作品最初的呈现只是假期闲暇时间手头画的一批装置的小稿,过了近一年的时间,面临着毕业了,需要考虑毕业创作的构思,想了很多方案都不如人意,很有意思的是后来无意翻到这批小手稿,发现这才是自己想要去做的东西,于是就把它做出来了。 

  This work was originally presented as a small manuscript of a collection of installations painted in the spare time of the holidays. After nearly a year, faced with graduation, I need to consider the idea of my graduation creation. It was very interesting that I came across the manuscript after came up with many unsatisfied plans and found that this was what I wanted to do, so I created it.

  Q:对人欲望的某种思考会是你创作中的一个重要主题吗? 

  Will human desire be an important theme in your creation?

  A:目前看我认为是的,也许会一直和这个主题相关也许不会,未来的事谁说的准呢,但是会一直思考这是肯定的。期间也还会有别的感兴趣的东西吸引到我,只是说不定哪天又回过头来思考最初创作上的一些问题,那时候我想会是另外一番心境和解读吧。 

  At this moment, I think, yes, maybe it's always related to this topic, maybe not. Who knows the future? But for sure, you got to think about it. There will be other interesting things for me in the future, but maybe one day I will come back to think about my original creations. At that time, I think it will be a different mood and interpretation.

  Q:作品中关于人类感官的借喻,如何去表达你的创作主题?

How does the metaphor of human senses in your work express your creation theme?

  A:感官是最直接的,各个器官传达和接受了我们人类所有信息。我们的情绪,状态等等都会由我们的面部表情,肢体动作传达出来,同时也在接收到别人发送的信息。在作品中我想也许能有一些类似的物体相互间的关系能去让观者感受和发现到吧。 

  The senses are the most direct, and the organs convey and receive all the human information. Our emotions, states, etc., are conveyed by our facial expressions, body movements, and they receive messages from others at the same time. I think that there might be some similar relations between objects for audience to feel and to discover.

  Q:为什么选择装置作为自己的创作媒介? 

  A:Why do you choose installation as your creative medium?

  简单说是我比较喜欢动手去制作,喜欢手作的这个过程,能不断感受物和物运动的关系,在创作过程中能有很多的可能发生,而且某方面来看装置比绘画能让人直接面对着物像本身,更直观且具有空间性,也许能触发更多的东西出来。 

  In short, I prefer to make things by hands. I like the process and it can make me feel the relationship between things continuously. There are many possibilities in the process of creation, the installations can make people directly face the object itself in some respects compared to painting, more intuitive and spatial, and may trigger something more.

  Q:“没有文字的诗歌” ,希望观者如何去理解这句创作经验?

  How should the audiences understand the creative experience “a poem without words”?

  A:很简单,诗歌的灵魂是源自于文字本身,像是文字游戏,而装置作品有时候也像是在写诗在诉说,只是它的语言不是文字,而是装置中物与物之间相互关系的组合再造。 

  It's very simple. The soul of poetry is derived from the words themselves, like a game of words, however, the installation works sometimes seem to be writing poems to narrate, but the language is the combination and reconstruction of the objects relationship in the installation instead of words.
