突如其来的疫情打破了人们寻常往复的生活，身处同种境遇的我们意识到彼此的命运已然相连。泰纳曾言：艺术创作或许被“种族（race）”、“环境（milieu）”和“时代（moment）”三者所决定，但共同的境遇并没有带来艺术现象的千篇一律；因为，存在于集体的共同心理已经跨越时空，跨越不同个体、媒介和种族的屏障；此时的艺术家更加关注个体的内在审视和生命意志。艺术，永远属于人之精神，艺术家，永远是人之心灵、人之生命、人之为人的创作者，而艺术作品，不仅是向外具身的媒介，也是向内审视自我的结晶。

The sudden outbreak of the COVID-19 broke the normal life of people back and forth, we are in the same situation and realize that our fates are strongly linked.Turner once said that artistic creation might be determined by "race", "milieu" and "moment", but the common circumstances did not bring the identical of artistic phenomena. Because the common mentality that exists in the collective has crossed time and space, across the barriers of different individuals, media and races; At this time, artists pay more attention to the inner scrutiny of individuals and the will to life. Art always belongs to the human spirit; The artist is always the creator of the human's soul, human's life and the human itself. Artwork, however, is not just an outward-facing medium ,but also about looking inward at yourself.

本次展览共邀请来自10个国家的60多位艺术家，将以不同的艺术形式和媒介，尝试回答：此时此刻，艺术家之为艺术家，如何呈现当代的视野与维度，如何面对当下，面对未来。

This exhibition invites more than sixty artists from ten countries, they will use different art forms and media trying to answer: At this moment, how artists present contemporary vision and dimension, how they face the present, face the future.

新冠病毒大流行期间的工作经验是许多文化和专业人士在国际上共享的，甚至对于许多人来说，这是一种积极的经验。 对我而言，社会隔离使我的创作更加丰富，毕竟我作为艺术家的实践总是孤独的。 现在的展览是虚拟的，新的现实为许多艺术家创造了一个更加公平的竞争环境，所以我对改变充满了活力和热情。 展览也证明了另一个积极方面，即艺术世界是真正的国际性的。 我们这个时代的技术有利于跨文化交流，对此我表示欢迎。 这是我第一次在中国的展览。

The experience of working during the Covid19 pandemic is something that is shared internationally among people of many cultures and professions and for many, it is a positive experience. For me working is enhanced by the social distancing, after all my practice as an artist is always solitary. Now that shows are virtual, the new reality creates a more even playing field for many artists, so I am energized and welcoming of the change. There is another positive aspect, which is proven by this show, that the art world is truly international. The technology of our time is conducive to cross cultural exchange and I welcome that. This is my very first show in China,

which I am very pleased to be included in,

and I am very grateful to all who made it possible.

在封城之初，我的工作生活迅速转变为全在线使用视频会议工具，比如Zoom。突然之间，让我感到非常不安的是，我需要和同事们分享我的私人住宅景象并且总是需要出现在镜头前。突然之间，我们比平时有了更多的工作要做并且感觉是不间断的。我感到压力很大，不能集中精力在任何事情上，所以我开始玩一个旋转的陀螺，它的底部有一个石墨铅笔。我在镜头外玩这个，这样我的同事就看不见了。我记录了并这样做了整整24个小时，直到笔迹覆盖了整个纸张。我很高兴地发现，尽管我被困在许多额外的会议中，但在镜头之外，在视线之外，我正在做一件艺术作品。

In the early days of the lockdown, my work life quickly shifted to using video conferencing tools, like Zoom, all online. All of a sudden, I was very upset that I needed to share my private home landscape with colleagues and always be in front of the camera. Suddenly, we have more work to do than usual and it feels uninterrupted. I felt so stressed that I couldn't concentrate on anything, so I started playing with a spinning top with a graphite pencil at the bottom. I play this off camera so my colleagues can't see it. I took notes and did so for 24 hours, until the handwriting covered the entire page. I was happy to find that, although I was stuck in a lot of extra meetings, off camera, out of sight, I was working on a piece of art.

展览置于特殊时期用了特殊的方式！境遇，针对各地艺术家而言受到疫情影响的时间是相同的；维度，艺术家作为创作个体必然有各自的表达方式。但无论环境如何变化，时代如何更迭，艺术将是一种永恒存在。感谢每一位参与其中的艺术家，在我看来，网上展览更像是视觉文化更多维度的融合与拓展！

The exhibition was placed in a special period in a special way!Milieu and Moment,for artists everywhere, the duration of the epidemic is the same.Dimension, artists as creative individuals must have their own ways of expression.But no matter how circumstances change, how times change, art will be an eternal existence.Thanks to all the artists involved, in my opinion, online exhibition is more like the integration and expansion of more dimensions of visual culture!
