　　第57届威尼斯双年展将于2017年5月13日至11月26日举行。今年2月起，该双年展分别在威尼斯、柏林、巴黎、伦敦、纽约举办相关新闻发布会。2月21日，本届双年展主要团队成员来到上海，宣布本届展会的相关事宜。

　　9大章节共同谱写“艺术永生”

　　本届威尼斯双年展展期为5月13日至11月26日，预览时间将是5月10日-12日，主题为“艺术永生”(Viva Arte Viva)。新闻发布会上，未能莅临现场的总策展人克里斯汀·马萨尔(Christine Macel)通过视频宣布展会细节：“艺术永生”分为9大板块，来自51个国家的120位受邀参展艺术家参与此次展览。其中，103位首次参展。中国艺术家耿建翌、关小、郝量、刘建华、刘野、周滔(音译)参与此次主题展。

　　马萨尔首先解释了“艺术永生”的主题内涵。她认为，该主题灵感来自“人文主义”，这种“人文主义”既不追求个人艺术理想，也不具有能够支配环境的人类所举办的庆典的特征。她说：“假这种人文主义通过艺术来庆祝人类拥有能够抵御被统治世界事务的权力所支配的能力。从不利因素来看，如果放任这些权力自行其是，将会极大地影响人文领域。”

　　其次，马萨尔介绍了九个章节(展馆)(The Nine Trans-Pavilions)的核心内容。她说，九个章节一起讲述着一个看似东拉西扯的、有时相互矛盾的故事，但它们却像是一面镜子，照着我们这个复杂的世界。九个部分不会用明显的展墙来区分，观众可以有机地、流动地、自然地看到各个作品。

　　展览始于“艺术家和书本之馆”，这是展览的中心地带，艺术家通过书本的形式，来审视自己的实践，回味艺术是如何创作出来的。

　　第二章“喜悦和恐惧之馆”探讨一种“身心循环”。中国人熟悉这种思维方式，但西方却很陌生，它们反应着艺术家理解人性、理解艺术本身的方式。在这个展厅里，叙利亚艺术家Rachel Rose以孤独、恐惧的方式研究她的个人实践。

　　在第三章“共同馆”里，艺术家们将探索对世界的看法，他们试图建立一个社区，找到一种方式来描绘个人主义、个体兴趣，来反射这个世界带来的启示和威胁。

　　第四章“地球之馆”将围绕自然环境、生物圈、探索和梦等方面。这一章节里的部分艺术家并未被众人所知，比如比如日本艺术家The Play 将在威尼斯湖上呈现最新项目;一位巴西年轻艺术家将在花园里带来小型项目。

　　第五章节“传统之馆”，顾名思义，将聚焦那些真正的传统。具有不同背景的艺术家们将从文学、诗歌等不同领域追寻那些珍贵的、甚至快要消失的传统。比如，一位法国艺术家将在这个展区里重塑对毛利文化的理解。

　　第六章节为“萨满之馆”。许多艺术家同意一种定义，艺术家就是“萨满”。在这个馆中，艺术家成为传教士的角色，来完成作品。比如，一位艺术家将邀原住民的参与自己的作品，传达具有有仪式感的项目。

　　第七章“酒神馆”赞美着女性身体的美好，部分作品具有性感、欢乐、幽默的视觉情绪，这代表着不同意识的阶段理解。其中，一位美国艺术家运用镜头来表现女性的视角，镜头将从狂欢到恐惧逐渐转换。

　　“色彩之馆”和“时间和无限之馆”是展览的最后两大部分。其中，前者通过纸上、水彩、水粉等作品来表现关于政治的、社会的、精神性的、身体性的作品;后者则围绕着时间和永恒的主题展开，试图回答一个问题：艺术从哪里来，它将驶向何处?

　　对于本次主题展，马萨尔总结：“如今，世界上充斥着各种纷争，艺术见证着我们人类之所以为人的最宝贵的部分。艺术是反射、是个人情感、是自由、是基础问题的象征;艺术是最后的堡垒，是一座培育一种超前或退后的潮流和个人审美的花园。”

　　中国馆：邱志杰策划“不息”

　　中国馆主题为​“不息”(Continuum – Generation by Generation)，其取自《周易.系辞》中的“生生之谓易”。策展人邱志杰表示，他以“不息”回应主题“艺术万岁，是想呈现中国艺术家愚公移山式的、尊重师承关系的情怀。据官方消息显示，四位参展艺术家——汤南南、邬建安、汪天稳、姚惠芬将参展。其中，汪天稳从事皮影雕刻50年，为国家级工艺美术大师;姚惠芬则是一位苏绣的国家级非遗传承人。

　　邱志杰解释了选择两位民艺大师的原因：“它势必引来一片叫好，也势必引来一些质疑”。叫好的，大概是觉得能把民艺带出去到威尼斯这样的好的平台，本身就是好事;质疑的，大概会觉得民艺在这样的场景里只是被利用——被策展人利用，或者被当代艺术家利用。所谓合作，根本不会是平等的。但是，很可能这样的叫好和质疑，都还太低估了事情的复杂性，和传统中蕴涵着的能量。”

　　据官方消息显示，此次中国馆的展览将由两件重要宋画——李嵩的《骷髅幻戏图》和马远的《十二水图》作为展览的“引文”。这两件作品涉及到中国人独特的精神世界的构成，尤其是生死观和时间观，他们共同指向了“不息”的意象。届时，四位参展艺术家将展开一对三、二对二的相互合作，而邱志杰本人也将与他们一同参与一场综合的表演项目。

　　其中，姚惠芬不仅将以上百种针法再现《骷髅幻戏图》和马远《水图》，也将参与汤南南《遗忘之海》和邬建安《崖山》系列的创作;而汤南南将参与姚惠芬《精卫》的创作。另一方面，邬建安与汪天稳已经多年合作，在此展中将针对马远《水图》和山海意象展开新的创作。

　　对此，中国对外文化集团副总经理阎东在新闻发布会上表示：“同20世纪初西方艺术遭遇从传统向现代转换的'新的震撼'相类似，中国艺术也处在深刻的变革之中。这种变革既有传承与创新，同时也在中、西方艺术领域中交汇与碰撞的语境中展开。目前的中国艺术，传统形式和风格的持续与探索新的艺术理念和新的艺术形式语言并存而且相互交融，这因而也构成中国艺术历史上最为丰富的一页。我相信，通过中国的方案'不息'，邱志杰先生能够对当代中国艺术做出最好的诠释。”
